FLOWERS
In Spring 2020 lockdown meant spending time in our gardens, and the passing of time was evident as different flowers bloomed. My garden became a picture to compose and develop. I was once again fascinated with how we focus on one thing but at the same time are aware of what is surrounding it. We can see which are on their own, which are part of a tumble of colour. With my studio at home, I moved away from the black and white paintings and introduced colour with these vibrant and lively mixed media works.
