I love a nice bird book. I love the local stories behind birds and their interactions with us. They are such an important part of many peoples lives and have so many sociology-economic stories attached to them. These 6 boks are my current favourites and are a mix of poetry, social history, conservation children's interest and wildlife art. All are ready to be wrapped in one of our swallow tea towels furoshiki way (see the furoshiki blog for ideas on how to wrap this shape)

Great post and lovely pic. i would suggest you posted it another 3 times and refer to buying it to any xmas presents someone might buy for a bird lover.x
