A bone china breakfast cup with chaffinch design by Sandra Vick with a wording around the rim.
The wording comes from a Robert Burns Poem. Robert Burns lived in Scotland from 1759–1796. His poetry is well known around the globe. This quote comes from his poem "The Birks of Aberfeldy" which Burns composed on the spot when he visit Perthshire in August 1787. It captures that moment when we sit in nature and hear birds singing.
